I'm replying to this on both the Acid list and the Miles list because I
think that this pertains to both areas.

I have noticed that here at home, jazz is making a slow but gargantuan
comeback! (Yes, here in good ol' Iowa none-the-less!) It might be because
of the new Acid-Jazz/Hip-Hop influence, or just because of the general
laid-back attitude around here, but Jazz is thriveing! I have this exciting
feeling that the next big steps in jazz are going to errupt from the
mid-west! More than half of the area teens actualy know who Baise,
Coletrane, Miles, and the Duke are!

Be happy, dance, rejoice! We have plenty of reasons to celebrate!
