Indeed, Welcome back!

Is this the album with "Unicorn" on it? It's the one that the Brand New
Heavies ripped off for _Dream come true_. The Dizzy/Lalo one is much
slower but it's got a better groove - more authentic!

Gerry.

hey, my first post in about a month--
On the Lalo subject, a few weeks back I picked up a Dizzy
Gillespie album called "Free Ride" with Lalo Schifrin
(around 1977) which was written and arranged for the most
part by Lalo Schifrin. It is wayyy funky in a slightly
mad-mod-disco sort of way. lots of fun synth sounds, Wah-Wah
Watson on Guitar on the better tracks. Plenty of that
"wacka-chicka-wacka-chicka" sound that I completely dig.
my favorite track is "Ozone Madness"
