I think some of the "deadhead" following grew out of MMW's (particularly J.
Medeski's) association/collaboration with a few people from Phish.
MMW opened for phish on several tour dates recently. Also...

Somebody help me out here--2 guys from phish, John Medeski, and a whole
buncha other people i don't recall put out an album, and i can't remember
exactly what they/it was called, but its new, and a friend of mine had an
advance-copy-promo of it. (next time maybe I'll be less specific;) It
sounded kinda like Mothers of invention. but a little jazzier.
If you're into really screwy noisy sounds, ala "weasels ripped my flesh"
y'all will probably like it. (that was my first impression anyway)

maybe some of them heads are onto something...

peas out--
yeah,yeah,yeah
