A few months back I made reference to an upcoming release (3/19/96)by my band
PLUNGE on Accurate/Rounder Records. I've since received numerous requests
for prerelease cassettes. Well I'm still running behind in getting tapes made
and sent out, my apologies. In the mean time, I've set up a home page for
the band that has 6 of the 12 cuts (in their entirety) from the CD "falling
with grace" as I-wave files. I-wave, if you're familiar with it, plays
on-line so there is little to no download time after you've made a selection.

Plunge's music is heavily groove based. We have 2 bass instruments, upright
bass (AVISHAI COHEN, Danilio Perez, Ravi Colrane)as well as tuba (MARCUS
ROJAS, Henry Threadgil, Sly & Robbie, Charlie Haden, etc.)so when the groove
comes down you can count on it being "wide-tracked". The legendary BOB
MOSES, on drums & percussion, gets to really stretch out in this band and on
this recording he's definitely in high gear. Some incredible solo Djembe
work as well. Drummers will not want to miss this one! I round out the
quartet on trombone (elec. at times)and alphorn (I wonder if the Swiss will
accept me after they hear what I've done to that instrument). Anyway, check
