Speaking of San Frandisco, I'll be rolling out that way in 2 weeks. I
might stay a week, and then again, I might stay a month. What's the must
see/must do insider scoop? Also, anybody know of any non-ego trip spots
to maybe sit in and do a set at? I've got credentials/tapes upon request.
And for anybody else who would like to peep a slice of my radio show,
drop me a line. It looks like there will be a review in Urb in the mix
tape section (via the sultan of slice himself, Dave Tompkins). Its off the
hook- live cut and mix style jazz inflected space-hop and beyond, vibing
along with live musicians (you gotta hear Colin Stetson on the
horns/flute---> rocks be-bop licks and harmonics tricks), MCs (namely
Aero One & Odkat representin the spirit of Motown), dub effects (courtesy
the filter maestro Jason Attaman), distorted beat-box dronin', conga
riffin, etc. etc. Title: Aural Transfusions. Nuff said. Peace-
