D-Influence does have a new album out. Its called 'Pray(er?) 4 Unity' if you
liked the
first album then for sure you'll like this one. The slight drag is the
complete rip off of 'And The Beat Goes On' on the 'Funky Times' tune.
Even though the song itself aint bad, sourcing old school hits is too
played out for me. But hell, its nice to have something out AJwise that
is all the way live and on the soul tip.

Before touring the clubs last night I stopped in on Paul E. Lopes' radio
show 'Vibes N' Stuff' and spied the second New Breed 'Loungin' CD. I axed
if it was as good as the first and Paul E. seemed to think so. This = 1 more
import purchase for moi to add to the apparently must have new Courtney Pine.

I've been in deep lurk for a while now. Just gotta let folks know that things
are kickin' up here in T.O. lots of good local live/DJ parties,
interestingly enough, the house promoters are tending to include sax,
percussionists ect more often, touring shows: (The Roots, Fugees, Goodie Mob
on March 13 @ Phoenix, Pharcyde, Angelique Kidjo sp?)

One Step Beyond will be releasing their album on March 28th here. Those
who got to check out the Mo' Funk 'Fresh Jazz Vibes' comp will
recognize their instrumental funky/latin/soul jazzin'. Those in the U.K.
will probably be able to pick it up as well soon enough.

Anyone wishing to contact me about anything please do so before they pull
the plug on my server this Monday. Unfortunately for me, my union will most
likely be on strike then and I'll have my account suspended. This will
also affect Jude Kelly whose account is also on this server.

Out 4 now
