HOLD ON! :)

*climbs on soapbox*

The 2nd track of the A-side on the Attica Blues remix 12" is the Slakked
Plastik mix man, Richie Hawtin in a downtempo mood fucking with electronic
percussions like nobody else. Although the beginning of the track is indeed
minimalist (mix friendly I should say), the whole damn think reaches some
level of complexity and a fast pace pretty rare on electronic tracks in the
same speed range, a dj dream! just like his previous Mo'Wax work, his mix of
La Funk Mob on that old Mo'Wax LFM double-10" remix.

*gets off soapbox*

so there! :P

I guess I'll go and check out the MW040 and I just hope that the slow
minimalist technoseque production is not spoiled by Mo'Wax typical cheezy
vocals (duck!)

oh, and I'll agree with Chris Ireland, Dr Rockit new 12" on Clear Record
kicks ass, from hip-hop beats to house beats, similar (but better than) to
his first double-12".

later...
