For those of you who are into the electronic end of the scene, can I
suggest that you pick up the book by David Toop (whose name escapes me)
on ambient music. Makes for very interesting reading on the whole
electronics scene. Is a collection of notes, articles and essays that he
has written on everybody from Brian Eno to Jon Hassel to Mixmaster Morris
and KLF.

Given the electronic directions which are increasigly emerging in the
scene, Toop's book helps contextualise electronic musics in a quite
strange and fascinating ways.

Some of you might know him from his seminal hip hop history 'Rap Attack.'
