I haven't heard the album, but I've seen him live a couple months ago.
The man is a guitar god in the making (though I know there's a few young
cats out there who have already thrown away their Joe Satriani posters) but
it's sort of ironic that the
role he's playing in the band is more like an organ player, playing the
manuals with his hands and the bass with the pedals.

The "Organ" sound is really the tremolo from his Fender amp; nothing too
fancy. It's the same kind of tremolo used in Dick Dale/Surf Guitar records,
just set more like a Leslie speaker.

I saw Mr. Hunter and his quartet @ the Pomona College A/J fest and that
"organ" sound tripped me up. Very cool almost EERIE. My only other comment is
the sound man must've fell asleep. The mix was muddy as hell.
