I've been off the list for a week so I don't knwo whether this has been a
subject of constant discussion but here goes:

1) I've heard that the March 16th Greyboy Allstars gig at Trax in Charlottesvilee Va will be broadcast on one of the UVA stations and I would seriously like
to get my hands on a tape of that (I'd pay for it etc.). Anyone gonna be in
town, know anyone in town etc.?

2) I say this because I saw the Allstars last weekend in Baltimore and they
were super-good. They played two sets, about 2 1/2 hours total, and really
wentthrough a ton of songs. They only played a couple songs from each album,
the other songs they played ranged from the JBs "The Drunk" (I think) to
Horace Silver's "The Jody Grind" (the closing number). Super-tight, super-funky,super-nice soloing etc. The sound was really good too and that makes me think
that a sound-board tape of one of their gigs would be pretty nice (not just a
live version of their albums at all). I know I'm starting to sound Dead-Headish
but screw it.
