I work for a TV current affairs show, and get to choose the music we put to
air. Kruder & Dorfmeister, 9 Lazy 9, Portishead, Lords of Acid, Sheep On
Drugs, Man With No Name, Joey Negro, St. Germain, Wagon Christ, Marden Hill,
Earthling, Massive Attack and many others have been used so far (I've even
managed to smuggle in a couple of my own tracks). Tr*p h*p works especially
well in stories about slimy conmen.

We go through the correct channels, and the artists are paid for what we
use. I much rather the money was going to people like these, than some of
the more commercial (and wealthy) artists.

As I was writing this I heard Leftfield's 'Original' playing on a TV
commercial in ther other room, but I missed what the product was.

Marc.
