saturday -- metrojazz at minna art gallery
sunday -- the 19th, is the two year anniversary of on the one magazine at
the esprit cafe with the on the one dj's andrew jervis, etc. and james
from tweakin. starts in the afternoon.
monday --i think mushroom jazz still goes on at 330 ritch on monday
nights.
tuesday -- check to see if mick de angelis and cool chris of the groove
merchant will be dj'ing on tuesday at 330 ritch. (they will soon be
starting tuesday nights there, but i don't have their confirmed start
date -- rare groove, latin, soul, funk) if not, you can catch dj caspar
at julie's supper club on folsom st. -- a cool place to have a drink at
the bar -- fabulous 50's decor.
thursday -- the 23rd, courtney pine and cassandra wilson will be
performing at bimbo's. a show not to be missed!
sorry i don't have addresses and times that these events start. will try
to update you when i get details.

Please let me know what spots to hit during the week of 5/17 - 5/25 in
the
Bay area. I've been reading this list for a few months and must give
props
both for the tips to visitors and the music tips available. I went to
the
Greyboy Allstars D.C. concert based soley on this list's raves. It was
all
that. I'm looking for clubs, concerts, cd shops etc.
This will be a first time visit to the west coast and I'd like to do it
up.
