Victor Simonelli was Critical Rhythm (Nu Groove and Strictly Rhythm
records). At that time, he was doing a lot of work with Arthur Baker
("Planet Rock"), who, back in the day, was basically the Brooklyn Funk
Essentials. I dunno who Dee is, though - doesn't sound familiar.

Vannesa Daou's husband, Peter, was a seminal house pianist for Nu Groove
records (heavy on the deep bleepy jazzy stuff) in the late-80's/early-90's.
She did most of his vocals, so perhaps she did some other bleepy stuff on
the side.

I vaguely remember that "Biorhythm" release - who else is on it?

The only AJ artist that I can think of who made the techno to AJ transition
was Greyboy. I have one of his early 12" released on his own Greyboy
Records label. I'm away from my records so I don't have access to actual
title and release date. He was definitely influenced by Derick May and the
whole Detroit sound and UK bleep scene. Buy it if you can find it.

Was A Man Called Adam ever considered techno - I'm not extremely familiar
with their earlier tracks. What about Paul Hardcastle?
