I think I am now officially off this list because I have almost finished my
thesis and am on to much better things

A new club opened last night in Toronto. It is called Area 51 and is the first
all progressive, electronic music venue in this city. It is at 577 King St. W.
( across the street from the Rotterdam Brewing Co. and the Mockingbird). Last
night was goddamn wicked with some Goa Trance other Trance and severely heavy
electronics. I danced my ass off. It is a pretty small place (200-250 people)
and should be a nice change from the waining warehouse scenesters.

Anyone into beats, jungle, low-fi, electro, trance etc etc must check it out.
Any DJ's looking to spin should make up a tape and/or call John at (416)
977-4036. They have some good connections and should be getting some good
names in including some guys from The Tokyo Techno Tribe (Dec.), Commander Tom
or other Noom people, DJ Hell (hopefully) and on and on. The guys running the
place are totally down to earth and just want to have some fine tunes going 7
nights a week.

Check it out! Tell them Chris told you about it. I am spinning this
Wednesday night (Nov.6) some triphop, jungle electro, techno, jazz-funk,
old-school. It WILL be cool.
