Salut,

A few informations from the sublabels of Le Fromage Productions:
- to celebrate the outcoming of the vol. 2 of "le Menu"
(called "Menu Kebab" :), two nights at the Hot Brass in Paris,
featuring artists from the compilation. For those who are in Paris,
here is the lineup:
nov 22: Osez (Switzerland), Alien (France), les Disciples (Belgium),
Zona 45 (Italy)
nov 23: Jose Barrense Diaz (Brasil), Swaat (France), FB Cool (France),
13 NRV (France)

- on Big Cheese Records, the long awaited vol. 2 of the
compilations "The Smoocher" and "The Meltdown" (actually, the comps
that made Big Cheese famous, together with "12 tasty slices") should
be out before 97...

- on Plug It! records, a new EP by No Se (of "Quelle Aventure"
fame), called "Funkypnotik (Fixe bien mes yeux)", from the LP No Se
and friends, and featuring FB Cool should be out soon. The LP should
feature some people from the french hip hop scene such as D-Nasty, les
7 Corrompus and Sydney (yeah, for those who know him, the guy of the
TV show)

- on 220 Volts Records, a compilation called "Tuner a vif"
should be out soon, featuring Kenny Dope Gonzales, Dee Nasty with Big
Brother Hakim and Daphreephunkateerz

I got this information from the (snail) mail, so for the guy who was
asking if any promo material such as t shirts was available, I'm sorry
I have no clue... I won't have time to call Big Cheese these days, so
I'd recommend you send them a fax at 33 - 01 40 09 15 79.

now turning to:
*** the adventures of Daniel in search of this mysterious track, ***
*** part 3 ***
So, I figured out the name of this famous track I'm looking for for
ages (and for some mysterious reason keeping the list informed about
my hunt), it's called "Do You Feel It", and it's by Joe Cuba. Does
anybody know the name of the LP it is from, or if not at least the
name of a comp that carries it? Thanks a lot, I hope this will be one
of the last messages where I bugger you with this...:)

Daniel

PS: by the way, the not-so-up-to-date www page for le fromage
productions is at:
http://cermics.enpc.fr/~dh/fromage/big_cheese.html

PPS: in France each part of the Headz 2 comp costs 90 francs on vinyl,
so that's 180 francs (about 36 US $) for the two... looks like we're
lucky here!
