Hi,

Well, a week ago, I took everyone's advice and went to my local record store
and had a listen to DJ Shadow's 'Endtroducing.....'

I didn't like it.

But, I did flick through it very quickly, and didn't give it much of a
chance. But, anyway, I decided not to buy it.

Last night I was at a friend's house and he played 'Midnight in a Perfect
World'. Maaaan.........'twas goooood! It was one of the best tracks I've
heard in a long time.

So, first thing this morning I bought the album, and am playing it now. This
is damn fine stuff. I'm currently listening to 'Stem/Long Stem' (one of my
favourites, along with the aforementioned 'MIAPW' and "Building Steam From a
Grain of Sand').

So, I've learnt my lesson - Take more time when listening to albums in
stores. I'll have to go back and listen to Morcheeba again. And who knows -
maybe on a longer listen I'd now own Goldie's 'Timeless', or Takemura's 'A
Child's View', or DJ Food's 'Recipe For Disaster', or Wagon Christ's
'Throbbibg Pouch', or Michael Bolton's Christmas Album.

Marc.

PS. From the liner notes on 'Endtroducing.....': This album consists
entirely of samples. No live instruments, drum machines or keyboards were used".

And he's rumoured to be touring Australia soon. Won't be missin' *that* one.
