On the Donald Byrd front why don't you try classics like "Black Byrd", "Places
and Spaces", "Steppin' into tomorrow" "Blackjack" and "Street Lady" all of these
are blue note albums and all of them with the exception of "Blacjack" feature
the production and writing talents of the Mizell brothers who were were heavily
involved with the likes of Donald Byrd, Gary Bartz and Johnny "Hamond" Smith in
the mid 70's. Electric Byrd features a nice track with Airto, happy listening.
Donald Byrd is certainly one of the greats.

See ya,
Winston..
