Illmatic was dope - stripped down beats and Nas' delivery was great.
His follow up - 'It Was Written' - isn't so impressive. It sits
in the middle of the rap genre. There is a a collaboration with Dr Dre with
Dre's trademark G-funk sound and a few good tracks. But I wouldn't
say this is a great recording (IMHO). Sorry ...
