I saw Caron Wheeler live late last year at the FunkJazz Kafe in Atlanta.
See URL below, and she performed a couple of new songs that were fantastic.
One of them was named "Roses (in your garden)"; a really beautiful song.

Last I heard she was in talks to signing with Rowdy Records (Dallas Austin's
Label), and the new home of Fishbone.

I got "Lost in Space" (Phase 2) and even though it is a double cd the
first lost in space is better as a 1 cd comp than this one is. It's not
horrible, but there are not any stand out tracks for me except for
Tekken by Ngo. There are tracks by St. Etienne, St. Germain, and Nitin Sawhney.
(on Lacerba; Cerbad 2) If you liked "logical progression," you'll probably
like this one.

I also got another vol. 2 compilation of "Unchartered Territories Jungle
Jazz 2." It's a little better comp. than the Lost in Space 2; however, both
of these have the wax doctor mix of St. Germain's "Alabama Blues." This
one also has the nightmares on wax 'stars (now mix)' we were talking about
a couple of weeks back. It has galliano, project 23, and abstract truth.

Yet another vol. 2 compilation that I got was "mindfluid" jazznewbeats Vol. 2
Again the first was better than this second one. It has Monday Michiru,
The Herbaliser, DJ Food, etc. However, there is one song on here that
I like mucho and was wondering if this group has a full-length or ep out.
The song is "Jazz Hypnosis" by First Priority.
