Their first two (only two?) albums _Earth Wind and Fire_ and _The Need Of
Love_, which were originally on ABC Records, have been reissued on Warner Bros.
"Black Music Ol' Skool" series (the series which also boasts Bootsy's and
Graham Central Station's material).
If you think that all EWF is about is "Boogie Wonderland" or even "Mighty
Mighty" then check these two out (especially "Energy" on "The Need Of Love", a
track recently sampled by DJ Krush). Funk jazz at its best, on the level of
Karma or Kool and the Gang.
