Zachary Breaux was a talented and exciting guitarist originally from Texas.
He toured with Roy Ayers for six years before doing his own thing. He is
survived by his wife and children in New York, and sadly his latest album
had just debuted at the top of the NAC charts in the US. Zachary also
worked with DJ Smash, The Roots and of course Jazzmatazz. I had the
pleasure of bringing Zachary up to open our club, The Chameleon in
Vancouver, and he was a big inspiration to the entire Mo' Funk crew. We
will miss him.
