Upfront speed garage/Uk cd prices

Dear List:
a while back i raved about a cd that i bought blind that turned me onto
to speed garage. It's full and proper name was/is Upfront Speed Garage".
The hook was that these were tunes that have not as of 2months ago come
out on 12" yet,being mainly dubs and demos. Well i like it enough to
give this trend my seal of approval. It is available thru Watts so if
your store deals with watts it may be available. Which brings
up another point. I got this as an Import for only US $16.99. Is this
because the Us dollar has recently gotten strong? Or is this some
bargain priced thing like you see with jungle (4Xcd for Us 2400 2 years
ago) and other UK comps. Or are the Brits cutting prices while the yanks
are getting screwed By the Big six here in the states. which is to say
that the US industry isnt passing on price breaks that other countries
are passing on to their home markets?
