My favourite trainers are a pair of year-old British Knights (BKs),
old-skool white sole rims, black suede uppers with white suede tongue,
collar, heelpiece and side stripe. Best thing about them, apart from
comfort, is the way that the small white BK logos on the tongue and heel
flouresce under the ultraviolet lights that you get in clubs everywhere
nowadays.
Since they're old-skool trainers you're generally ok with dress codes, most
door policies against trainers are there to keep out the sportswear kids.

Other than BKs, I wear Vans during the day (light as a piece of paper, and
much more comfortable ;-) and a pair of battered Air Walks (old style with
the small 'a' on the side) around the house.
