GREAT ALBUM!!! Cujo is the alter-ego of Amon Tobin of Ninja Tune
fame, and ADVENTURES IN FOAM is one of my favorite dnb albums of
last year. Tracks alternate between soundtracky tr*p-h*p kind of
stuff and manic dnb. BTW, the UK version on Ninebar has a much
more attractive cover and can be had almost as cheap (I think
Drop Beat has it for $15.99).

Haven't heard this, but _The Wire_ made it sound pretty interesting
in their June issue. I'll quote:

"JOURNEY has the disintegrating melancholy of EXPRESSION ([John
Coltrane's] last record, made in 1967). Pharoah Sanders' unprece-
dented yodel and Alice's wayward runs fuse with the exotic
instruments and create a yearning restlessness that works. Such
use of textural impressionism quickly found more glitzy practitioners
with Miles and Weather Report, but here there's a pace and acoustic
abrasion that is really moving."

It's great that Impulse is re-releasing all this hard-to-find stuff!
