Hola everybody!

Can't get enough of hype charts? Always flip to the chart section first when
you get your fresh copy of JockeySlut? Well then, we've got something in
common. And to show you what type of lists I like the best I've put together
a couple of my own...

Four most anticipated releases at the moment

1. Chemicals' album (Trying hard to get their street cred back)
2. D'Angelos double (Hoping he'll work more with miss Badu)
3. Roni Size's album (That Bahamadia track...)
4. Mary J's album (Better be pretty good if she still wants to be the
queen...that "love's all we need" track didn't quite convince me)

Top 3 hip-hop jams that seem to be stuck in the twilight zone (i.e.
impossible to find)

1. Ahmad "Who can?!" (Beatnuts rmx) From the Meteorman Soundtrack
2. MC Lyte "Cappucino"
3. Grand Daddy IU "Sugarfree"

Most likely artist/cities to come up with the next big dance music genre

1. Moscow: Statisticly there has to be at least a couple of funky people
making music in a country as large as that. (Nu russian house?)

2. Bristol/ Stockholm: If some of these drum'n'bass dudes stop copying each
other and find a style of their own, that scene's going to blow up a second
time. (Bristock beats?)

(3. Paris: Hopefully the French will keep coming up with original stuff. But
the last couple of releases from Daphunkateerz, Motorbass and Daft Punk
haven't been very convincing. That's why I've put this section in brackets.)

Ok. That's the best I can do for now. If you feel there's something you'd
like to list just mail me or the archive. Comments are very welcome!

Tja,
