HELLO ALL ACID-JAZZ FANS. MY NAME IS HOAGY AND I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU
WHAT ACID-JAZZ IS TO ME. ACID-JAZZ IS NOT ONLY MUSIC OR SOUNDS, BUT ALSO
A STATE OF MIND. THE SOUND OF ACID-JAZZ IS LAID BACK CHILLIN OUT KINDA
THING. IT'S GREAT. I AM CURRENTLY IN AN ACID JAZZ BAND. I WILL NOT
RELEASE OUR NAME FOR PUBLICITY REASONS. BUT WE ARE OUT OF THE CEDAR
RAPIDS AREA. ACID JAZZ AND OTHER FUNKED OUT MUSIC HAS BECOME LARGER HERE
OVER THE LAST COUPLE MONTHS. MY BAND AND I CURRENTLY HAVE A PRETTY GOOD
SIZE SET OF SONGS THAT WE HAVE WROTE AND HAVE GOTTEN MANY COMPLIMENTS
ABOUT. WE WILL PROBABLY COME OUT WITH AN ALBUM OR A COUPLE DEMOS DURING
THE SUMMER. WE ARE INTO THE MORE LAID BACK ACID JAZZ.I THINK AS THE
FUTURE CREEPS UPON US, ACID JAZZ AND OTHER NEW STYLES OF MUSIC SUCH AS
AMBIENT, ACID JAZZ, TRANCE AND OTHER STYLES SIMALIAR TO THEM WILL TAKE
OVER PRESENT DAY COUNTRY, ROCK, PUNK, ETC.... I'M NOT SAYING THAT THOSE
STYLES ARE BAD, IM JUST SAYING THAT MORE PEOPLE ARE STARTING TO LISTEN TO
THESE STYLES OF MUSIC MORE OFTEN. I MEAN, I STARTED LISTENING TO ACID
JAZZ WHEN I WAS 13. SO I THINK THE AMOUNT OF FUNK AND ACID JAZZ FANS IS
GROWING AND WILL KEEP GROWING FOR A VERY LONG TIME. SO THAT MY FRIENDS IS
WHAT I THINK OF ACID JAZZ. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO ME ABOUT
ANYTHING I WROTE IN THIS PASSAGE, FELL FREE TO EMAIL ME AT:
