hope this top 5 thing isn't getting annoying... I personally like
reading everyone's stuff (need some kind of review though) Anyway here
goes...

1. Kool Kieth:"Sex Style" Fresh! Don't know why i haven't seen anything
about it on the list. Very different sounding (i guess less menacing)
from the Doc. Oct. stuff. Best album cover 97'!!? ;) Intermissions, one
of which has a phone call with a "lady friend"... um...something about a
lollipop in her asshole, among other explicit audio treats. Politically
correct types, STAY AWAY.

2. Z-Trip: Rockstar (found on Return of the DJ Vol.2) this track is too
funny. I never heard anything like this before. Black Sabbath vocals,
scratched in crunchy guitar riffs, some ACDC thrown in the mix for good
measure and at the pinnacle of it all a transformed Eddie Van Halen
guitar solo. All over top of fat beats....

3. Jacob's Optical Stairway: (self titled) I know it's old but this is
a must have for people into experimental breakbeats. The whole record is
lovely but "solar feelings" comes highly recommended. Who is the woman
singing on it? Anyone? Sampled horns, flowing bassy atmospheric sounds
and an unpredictable beat that has some backwards stuff going on in it.
Absolutely gorgeous. I can see people who aren't fans of drum and bass
liking this...

4. DJ Wally: "DJ Wally's Genetic Flaw" That song Feelin'' Groovy pushed
it into my current top 5!!

5. Crush Groove Soundtrack- No elaboration needed

Peace,
Argo
