Bossa Something Else

A while back there was a Latin Jazz thread, possibly a result of the Top 8
posts. Anyway, I acquired a couple of the compilations featuring the
artists of the 60's and 70's - Bossa Beach:Latin Jazz Dance Island, Talkin'
Verve, Nova Bossa:Red Hot on Verve -the likes of Getz, Gilberto, Mendes,
Byrd, Tjader, Stitt, - great, great stuff!
It's evident that if I had the time and patience, I might actually become
somewhat knowledgeable - however, I just don't see it happening! On the
same thread I acquired Bossa Brava (instinct
records)......dope...dope...dope...bore, no se, rad...instant self
gratification! Those of you who are in the know...please direct me to more
of the same!
