seems I just keep on dishing out the bad reviews, but...

I dont like the new audio alchemy comp as much as the last one.
Z-trip's track seemed the best of the bunch, but even that wasnt anything
terribly superior. THe Audio Alchemy comps claim to be forward thinking
hip hop (there's a big sticker on the new one that says "Audio Alchemy is
the next step"), but it doesnt feel like hip hop at all to me. It also
doesnt feel like anything new. just downtempo stuff. and on top of all
that, I miss the cut chemist...

speaking of cut chemist, though, how about the Jurassic 5 EP? its
amazing! as far as I know, this is new. this is the first thing I've seen
of them at all, othere than a lot of hype (which is well deserved).
Perhaps this is a reissue? I dont know. Anyway, its a about 5 songs with
a big old school influence, plus Cut chemist's "Lesson 6" which appeared
on Deep Concentration earlier in the year if Im not mistaken. What a
great song. One of my favorite tracks of the year I think.
