Can you imagine an Hammond grooving to the rainbow theme. Sounds too
much like zig and zag. That would be crazy. Then again they did do a
take of the Top of the pops theme tune. So long as they don't have the
dodgy vocals. "Up above the streets and houses rainbow climbing high
.... " You know the rest.

I've seen JTQ on a few occasions, and he does regularly have other
keyboards
on stage, but I'm not sure about originals like Rhodes etc., it's
normally
just the Hammond and a relatively modern synth (Korg, Roland digital
stuff,
very unexciting) As far as vocallists, they went through a real phase a
few
years ago (92-94 I think, fuzzy brain back then I'm afraid *8-) ) The
McCoy
brothers (Noel and the other one...) Alison Limerick and a couple of
others
Rose Windross have also appeared in my experience.... I quite like the
covers, and I think they will only be complete when they perform the
Rainbow
theme tune (with Zippy and Bungle for the UK list members...)
