CTI/Kudo - not quite sure of the distinction - is probably the top
fusion/funky/abstract jazz not jazzz label ever. Bob James, Ron Carter,
Freddie Hubbard, Grover Washinton Jr, Airto, Deodat, ect, ect. I think
its the most sampleable label around. Some groovy stuff, but a lot was
just kinda out there.
