Not even really at all close to acid jazz, but since you asked...
folk implosion have (I believe) 3 full lenghts not to mention 7"s and
compilation appearances and of course the kids soundtrack.
The newest album, "dare to be surprised" is hit and miss. Half of it has
that "Kids" feel: catchy grooves. "Insinuation" is better than anything
they've ever done, as are a number of other songs on the album. The other
half of the album is more of a quirky rock feel, which can wear on a guy.
Its a good album, and so is "Take a look inside," their second album.
(stay away from their first one though!)
