When I think back to 1990 and my arrival in London from Wales, one of the
things that impressed me greatly was the quality of local radio.

The show which stood out most (by a very long way) was the Musiquariam on
Kiss FM. It used to broadcast on Sunday afternoons, and then later, on
Sunday evenings. I seem to remember the show ended when the presenter had a
dispute with the station management. The problem is, I can no longer
remember whether it was presented by Norman Jay or Trevor Nelson, but it so
strongly defined the vibe in London at that time that I will never forget
the show.

Can someone else who is familiar with this magnificent show refresh my memory?

I am sure that on my visits back to the UK over the last year or so, I have
heard both of these djs on national radio (Radio One). Why is it that UK
radio is so far superior to anything I have ever heard in New York?

If someone can shed some light on this mystery, I will be truly grateful.

Many thanks.

James
