RE: capoeira

Whn I went back to SF in May/June, I went to the Latin American Festival (??
don't remember the exact name) in the Mission/SoMA area and they had a really
good capoeira exhibition there, in addition to great music from Peru, Bolivia
and other South American areas. In fact, I recognized one "participant" as a
master of the arts (I follow martial arts and the like).

I think that capoeira is very beautiful and fluid and, when it's done fast, it
can be pretty violent. The music, too, is very deep as is most Latin music.

Correct. Has anyone else watched/tried Capoeira- it struck me as break
dancing kung fu tai chi for stoners, amazing stuff. I can see the hit
video now..
