etc. but no-one mentioned that what it "is" is a *musical bow* (as in
hunting). it's got a ball on one end that is to amplify the sound (kinda
like
the soundbox part of the guitar it works by resonation), but, like the saw,
it's a non-musical item turned into an instrument!
