I'm with you. I wouldn't go anywhere near as far as to say it's the
best thing out on Mo'Wax. Playing with vintage keyboard gear is cool
but I tired pretty quickly of the album. The short song length and
relative simplicity of it all haven't kept me interested for the long
term, especially when there are so many good keyboard players out
there. I liked what he did with the Beastie Boys better, added
balance to his sound.

Then again, I am a big fan of John Medeski, which has gotten me into a
couple of squawking matches with keyboard nerds...
