woohoo! Can't wait for this one ... but what's up with this import stuff?
How does a crew from Brooklyn get released in the US as import first? I'm
confused....

While on the gangstarr tip, has anyone checked the New York Reality Check
mix cd that Premier did at the end of last year? If so, any reviews? I'm
not so much interested in the way he cut shit up as in the jams that he
mixed...

take it easy,

PS while I'm here, some recent purchases that have been worth every penny...

* King Britt ... "Sylk 130" (thanks for the tip everyone...)
* Frequency Unknown ... "Freequency Unkown" (first release for new
Australian hip hop label Paralax View Recordings ... the Sleeping Monk in
fine rhyming form...)
* Ivan "Boogaloo Joe" Jones ... "Black Whip" (fonky assed guitar from the
man himself from around '73 ... my first full length of his stuff and it's
great)
