There's a new 10" out on Yellow by Mikael Fitzpatrick, a West Coast group.
It's slow music, not really trip-hop, sorta dub-rockish, the color of
sepia-toned photographs, almost like Mazzy Star
and Primal Scream rolling around in a field of poppies, with that
post-techno sensibility of Air and Kid Loco--but definately with more on
an American twist. It's one song and three mixes. Not for everyone, but
it's certainly worth a listen if you see it around.

World Music Now is the supposed American distributor for Yellow, and you
can find some stuff on their website (I don't know the url, though it is
something like www.worldmusic.com.) Timewarp in the UK also has some
