Tapping the Vein

It's been so quiet out here in the Western Front. But I just had to pass
this one along. I've been trying to track down a Philadelphia area band
called Tapping the Vein and finally turned up their web site at:
http://www.tappingthevein.com/
Kind of makes sense? According to the press, this band was "noticed"
recently by Andrew Eldritch (Sisters of Mercy) and given some support.
They have a new 5-song CDEP out called "Butterfly". I tested the music
on my G2-RealPlayer and they are outstanding! Several of the songs are
the full-length, uncut songs. My faves were "Broken" and "The River". I
confess that I liked them so much that I saved them to my hard drive.
Nevertheless, I'm planning to order it immediately this week. Bands like
this really deserve support, especially since [P] are temporarily in
hiatus until their soon-to-be next release. According to one review, the
writer said he would definitely buy stock in whatever record company had
the brains to snatch Tapping the Vein. I'd definitely recommend you
visit their page and listen to the songs.

Thanks,
Christopher Lane
