MP3 player/ 98' list poll?

I'm not really you're cutting edge, latest high tech having kinda guy
but somehow i happened into a situation such that my MP3 player is being
shipped Monday! So i'm stoked. Anyone out there have it yet and wanna
toss out their opinions on the pros and cons of this device/format
etc...?
 
Hay the way, are we all doing that best of 98' list poll this year? Did
i miss mention of it?(i was on vacation for a couple weeks) Howz that
work? someone in the holiday spirit, with plenty of free time compiles
all the entries?
