I would definitely agree that with Denise and Jay concerning the effect
of the lyrics in the music. Although I have to say that I haven't been
all that impressed with the poetry and lyrics in acid-jazz. Sure,
Jamiriquoi had their whole emergency on planet earth thing going on, but
it was slightly trite, . . .of course that didn't keep me from
listening to it over and over again when I first came across the album
three years ago.

My point though, is directed at Jay's comment concerning the priority of
music over lyrics. I could never get into Bob Dylan until I actually let
go of the music critic in me, and just listened to the lyrics. As I
began to appreciate the lyrical side of Dylan I became much more into
his music. I'd say the same thing of Neil Young too.
