A couple weeks ago I said I would take all incoming polls and compile
them--no editing--into one message to be sent to the list once a day. If
no one else wants the job, I probably can do the summary. I'd rather not
take responsibility for sending "official" categories. In the spirit of
true anarchy, I favor an "anything goes" approach to categories. Aside
from the more generic forms, such as "best instrumental...", as long as
you think anyone can understand your category, use it.
The one addition that would help someone else understand why you like
what you like would be to tell your orientation, such as musician, DJ,
consumer, or whatever.
