I feel compelled to add my feelings to the debate about Siedah Garrett - I had
no idea she had left, and it sounds like an intriguing development. I thought
N'Dea was a goddess, and really could do no wrong, and the alteration of musical
direction must be connected to the change of frontwoman. 'Shelter' is the best
song on the album,. for me, and Siedah does not even sing on that. The dark side
of the change in style is epitomised by 'You Got A Friend', which strikes me as
a trite and unconvincing cover of an otherwise very fine song.

On a different note, I live in the South-East of England (Reading) and I am
trying to find out about good record shops with Acid Jazz music in it. I am
extending my collection as a recent convert, and I need a place with
knowledgeable staff etc. to to help me in my quest ..... London seems an obvious
place I suppose, but any help to narrow the search would be much appreciated.

Thanks
