thanks all for the comments on the peas, I'm definitely going to check them
out. Better then The Roots you say? very promising.....

I saw Killah Priest do a very solid performance today at the Metropolis
festival in Rotterdam. I was very glad to see that he doesn't shout like
other live performers. if you have the chance go see him. Asian Dub
foundation were a little dissapointing to my taste.

I picked up some goodies at the festival fair, Moving Target by Gil
Scott-Heron, Black Widow by Lalo Schifrin and the best of Bill Withers (who
is he and what is he to you) all very nice.

sound) Funky Jazz music ahead of its time.
also Gary Bartz with JuJu street songs and Don Byron's Nu Blaxploitation, a
very nice spoken word/ jazz album. Featuring bizz markie in a 14.00 minute
during session, all recorded in one take at live performances I think.

some sad news; a player of the Dutch team has broken his ankle in a training
session today. (sorry to post another soccer related message, I'm getting
way too excited over this) for the people who are still looking for the Nike
commercial tune, it's indeed Mas que Nada by Jorge Ben Jor but it is the
version that is been performed by Tamba Trio (1963) which can be found on
Nova Bossa, a cd that accompanied the Red Hot &Rio cd. (not the vinyl
edition, us afficionados get screwed again)

goaaalllaaçooo!!!
