Jazz/hip-hop in New York State???

I am looking for places to hear acid jazz (or for that matter any hip-hop
or jazz) live in the Upstate New York area-specifically the Troy/Albany area.

Any suggestions for clubs or anything I could go to???????????????

I have a sad feeling nothing like that exsits there....
