well.. i tend to put jungle/DnB/downtempo all somewhat into the same
category. jungle tends to be on the fast end, DnB is pretty much
everything in general, and downtempo just ends up being on the chillin'
vibe..
as far as what i consider some of the smoothest and phatest of the genre?
these tend to come to mind:
amon tobin (jungle~dnb)
mr. scruff (jungle~dnb)
anything by kruder & dorfmeister (dnb~downtempo)
journeyman (jungle~dnb)
naked funk (dnb~downtempo)
sons of silence (jungle~dnb)
runaways (dnb~downtempo)
lamb (dnb~downtempo)
depth charge (jungle~dnb)
& the list goes on and on and on...
