With the info that you've given, It's impossible 2 know whether u found a
collector's piece or not. Generally speaking, greatest hits comps r not
very collectible, or at least not worth much monetarily. If you're just
looking 2 get a feel 4 Satchmo, there's a pile of really cheap cd's that u
can buy. Satchmo's recorded some really awesome stuff on Verve with Ella
Fitzgerald, which features both them singing. Rca has put out some of his
old Bluebird singles on a compilation called "I got a right to sing the
blues". It features an amazing duet with Bing Crosby called "gone fishin'".
I paid this comp $9.00 Canadian; a real bargain. MCA also has a few comps
out that are reasonably priced. Anyway, hope this helps, I'm sure you'll
love him.
