Blew some cash the other day on cd's at everyone's favorite store,
Virgin. ;-)

Purple Penguin- De-tuned : Very electronic based like most stuff on Cup
of Tea. A lot of spacy sounds with dope beats and some jungle beats
chopped up and snuck in between occasionally . Orchestral atmospheric
sounds, lots of sweet female vocals (not the focus, usually just kind of
overlaying everything), trumpets, xylophones, violins, and i think there
was a crazy carnival sounding organ on one track. Good stuff for those
who like a healthy dose of head noddin' beats to pour over their bowl of
crispy marshmellow chillout treats. Highly recommended!

Sharpshooters- Buck the Saw (their first recording i think... fat ass
groovy jazz beats. all instrumental. dope.)

Mighty Truth- From the City to the Sea (this is something i bought
blindy and turns out i have been sleeping... realized i've heard half
the songs and never investigated where they came from... Very Brand New
Heaviesesque. Really, really good and works in one of those "name some
examples of acid jazz" threads along side of BNH, Quiet Boys etc.

anything else out by Mighty Truth as good as this i should look into?
