what's up? i got the new brooklyn funk essentials cd, in the buzz bag.
my review, well i didn't know what to expect but this is phat. it's cool
to blend so many types of music to create one song. the must
hear.......keep it together, a cool smooth track (aka lets chill). by and
bye busts out with some drum and bass as well. istanbul twilight goes to a
reggae side of things. magick carpet ride hits some funk in a southern
(united states) way, with an almost rock guitar feel. selling out hits
some roots/erykah badu hip hop. you don't know nothing hits you with funky
vocals with a gospel-y feel. freeway to uskudar goes all out turkish with
a brass band feel. and zuma preserve has cool percussion. so my review
check this cd out for some 21st century acid jazz-world music.
