Sinclair, French dude, was just in Istanbul this weekend for the city's
first "Dance and Techno Festival" as they called it. He did a nice
discoy, funky house set. As with his album, Sinclair's live set has a
smooth flow with a definite old, school feel to it. A friend of mine
talked to him about his music and he told him that he actually doesn't
write it or produce it, somebody else does even though his name is on
the album.

Of other notables in this festival were...Aphex Twin who did a 1 hour
plus set using beats from the history of hip-hop. Very fat with some
electro synthesized voices doing some rap.

The dnb guy Adam F was there. He did some foolish Janet Jackson type
stage show with dancers and everything. It lasted all of 35 minutes and
reeked of overt commericalism.
